Accomplishments

During my tenure as an English and French teacher at IB Arthur School from 2019 to 2024, I achieved significant milestones both in the classroom and in leadership roles. As a teacher, I dedicated myself to fostering excellence in language education, resulting in the remarkable success of two groups of learners who surpassed the international average in the Cambridge Primary and Lower Secondary Exams.

In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I served as Head of Curriculum and Assessment from 2022 to 2024, including the role of Exams Officer for Cambridge Assessment International. In this capacity, I oversaw the development and implementation of curriculum strategies and assessment practices, ensuring alignment with global standards and best practices.

One of the highlights of my leadership tenure was coordinating the 2024 Global Conversation: Topical Talk Festival, a prestigious event that brought together 15 learners from IB Arthur School to engage in meaningful discussions on various topics. Through meticulous planning and coordination, three of our learners emerged on the leaderboard, showcasing their outstanding communication skills and intellectual prowess. Furthermore, I am proud to mention that our school ranked 3rd out of over 300 classrooms worldwide, underscoring our commitment to academic excellence and global engagement.

My tenure at IB Arthur School has been characterised by a relentless pursuit of educational excellence, innovative teaching methodologies, and effective leadership in curriculum development and assessment practices. I am grateful for the opportunity to have made a positive impact on the lives of my students and colleagues, and I look forward to continuing to contribute meaningfully to the field of education in the future.
