In partnership with opinion leaders, Ghana Education Service, UNICEF and USAID, I Provide oversight for the implementation, supervision and monitoring of all nutrition programmes (C-IYCF, CMAM, BFHI, GIFTS, NFSI, SMART School) targeting Children under 5 and adolescent health at the district level.
Train District and Sub-District Health staff on the use of new Maternal and Child Health Record Booklet (MCHRB) and the concept of nutrition Scorecard and its implementation.
Developed and implemented a community-based nutrition education program targeting mothers and caregivers, resulting in improved knowledge and practices related to infant and young child feeding.
I led a team in conducting a comprehensive nutrition assessment survey in the district, analyzing data and providing evidence-based recommendations for targeted interventions.
Sub District/District level monitoring and coaching visits to Health Centers, CHPS and outreach points.
Ensure that Child Growth Monitoring and Promotion (GMP) activities are carried out at the sub-district, health facilities and community levels.
