- Identify, resolve and correct detected E&I faults and defects in equipment
- Prepare and maintain variety of records; make verbal and written reports on work performed
- Troubleshoot, maintain and make new installations to PLC (Siemens S7 1200) and plant DCS (Honeywell Experion C300) including, configuration, alarm management, software upgrades, and hardware replacement
- Diagnose and repair electrical power and control systems, AC V/S drive and associated electrical equipment
- Conduct in-depth investigations into faults affecting equipment operations and process flows
- Perform installations, maintenance and repair activities, in accordance with OEM specifications
- Read and utilize electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, single line diagrams, circuit diagrams and PID diagrams
- Maintain sufficient spare availability and stock levels
- Utilized hand tools, portable electrical tools and maintenance shop equipment safely and effectively
- Test repaired equipment to determine the extent of effective functioning, including but not limited to maintenance of MCC’s, motors and drives
