I am a climate change and sustainability researcher with a PhD in Disaster Risk Management under WASCAL, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and with extensive experience in interdisciplinary research, transdisciplinary stakeholder engagement, and qualitative and spatial methods. My doctoral work investigated wildfire dynamics in Ghana’s northern savannahs using mixed-methods approaches, including remote sensing, GIS, interviews, and participatory mapping. I have a strong track record in team science, citizen engagement, and translating research into actionable strategies for resilience and biodiversity stewardship.

  • Provides strategic technical guidance for designing and implementing project activities to improve resilience, sustainable livelihoods, and social cohesion among vulnerable communities in targeted regions, especially women and youth.
  • Coordinates multi-stakeholder engagements with local authorities, civil society organisations, and development partners to ensure the alignment of project interventions with regional development priorities and EU guidelines.
  • Lead capacity-building initiatives by organising and facilitating training workshops, technical sessions, and knowledge-sharing platforms to strengthen local actors’ skills in climate-smart agriculture, natural resource management, or social protection (tailor to your context).
  • Monitoring and evaluating project progress, contributing to results-based reporting, indicator tracking, and adaptive planning to ensure the delivery of measurable impacts and timely donor reporting.
  • Support policy dialogue and advocacy efforts, producing technical briefs, field reports, and evidence-based recommendations to inform national and regional strategies on cross-border development, environmental management, or human security.

  • Manage the project's work plans and budget, monitor, assess, and follow up with project partners to ensure all activities are completed and that women smallholder farmers are satisfied with project implementation.

  • Mobilized farmers and linked them up with aggregators supported by the project to enable them to assess input revolving funds across all project districts and also create market opportunities for these farmers.
  • Organized training for operators of commonly managed agricultural infrastructure in developing maintenance plans and Standard Operating Procedures for preventive maintenance, regular assessment of competencies.
  • Formation of active soybean, Rice and groundnut value chain committees to facilitate the development of these commodities into productive agribusinesses whilst adapting climate-sensitive practices.
  • Liaised with TECAS (Training and Extension for Conservation Agriculture in the Savannahs) in the promotion of climate-smart agricultural interventions for Farmer Based Organizations across the project operational area.
  • Additionally, 208 Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs) were established, with a membership of 4,224 (87% women), to promote the concept of saving and investing in their respective agribusinesses within the project area.
  • Kept projects on schedule by managing deadlines and adjusting workflows.
  • Enhanced team collaboration through regular meetings, fostering a positive work environment for increased productivity.
