Trained 8 cardiologists and 12 cardiology fellows are under training
-Development of 1st Ghana's CVD Management Guidelines, Training manuals/Guides for nurses, physician assistants and doctors in CVD -Training of over 5,000 health professionals in CVD across Ghana
-Setting up of Ghana's first National CVD Support and Call Centre
-Provision of equipment( ECG, monitors, defibrillators, etc) nationwide for the management of CVD
-Establishment of Ghana's first e-learning platform for the training in CVD
-Establishment of 9 specialized centers for the management of DVT and heart failure
-Screening of 10,000 coastal Accra inhabitants for hypertension and linking them to care
-Institutionalization of CVD training through modification of curriculum for training in medicals and nursing colleges in Ghana
-Working with other sponsors beside Bayer to transition Ghana Heart Initiative to Ghana Health Initiative for the next 4 years to continue capacity building for CVD but add Diabetes Mellitus and Respiratory Diseases
-Working the Ethiopian Government to establish the Ghana Heart Initiative model there.
