He holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management (MSc ESPM) from the Institute of Local Government Studies (ILGS), affiliated with Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), as well as a Bachelor of Science in Geomatic Engineering from KNUST. Additionally, Alex has earned certificates in Strategic Management, Corporate Leadership, and Project Management from Bassey Consult.
Alex is a professional member of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS), Ghana Institution of Engineers (GhIE), and the Licensed Surveyors Association of Ghana (LiSAG). In 2018, he obtained a license from the Director of Surveys under the Lands Commission to conduct cadastral surveys in Ghana.

  • From July - September 2001. As attachment Student surveyor with the MUSEW Company, these projects were carried out: Base Map Preparation for the Nyinahin Township, Provision of levels for the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company of Ghana, Kumasi (B. O .S .T), for the casting of concrete around the storage tanks and underground Tanks for fuel storage, Twum Duasi Township Traverse and Demarcation Survey.
  • From April – August 2000. As attachment student with the company, the following projects were undertaken: Preparation of Base Map for the Bodweseango, Township, Parkoso Township, and Detailing for the Review of Atonsu Buokro Township scheme.
  • Reduced equipment downtime through proactive preventive maintenance and timely repairs, ensuring smooth operations.

Pwalugu Multipurpose Dam Project

  • The Project Scope was to Demarcate the Boundaries of the Total Land Earmarked for acquisition, to be used to construct the Multipurpose Dam
  • Main Task included delineating the boundaries, mounting type A boundary markers all along the entire stretch of the boundary
  • To coordinate the boundary markers using the modern GNSS-GPS equipment, generating the Coordinates in XYX format.
  • The final Deliverable was a topographic map showing the boundaries and all relevant details for the determination of the land size.
