• Build the Capacity of Outgrower Businesses (OB) Networks, facilitate linkages to buyers and suppliers and advocate for an improved business enabling environment
• Strengthen the Capacity and linkages between public sector agricultural extension and research and smallholder farmers and MSMEs
• Implement activities to improve :
• Production and productivity
• Field level business cooperation and collaboration with relevant Actors to improve access to information, technology and services particularly by smallholder farmers, women and youth.
• Develop and leverage on good working relationship with relevant local institutions ; government, CSO, NGO, private sector, local / traditional authorities, and others to achieve project results
• Develop working relationship with local authorities, innovation and technology centres / institutions in the field of technology transfer, and Other relevant regional stakeholders for the benefit of the project ; 3.3 Capacity Building
• Provide Capacity Development assistance, training, technical assistance, coaching and mentoring of project clients in the region to ensure project delivery. 3.4 Program Development
• Assist other team members in the performance of all other functions.
• Participate in the Development of organisational and Regional level workplans/activity implementation, and other Community development actions as may be directed by senior management among others

• Marketing Project activities and concept to Beneficiaries across the five Regions of the North and beyond
• Training Project Beneficiaries including VSLAs on Project logistics and app usage
• Negotiating with stakeholders for effective implementation
• Ensuring quality control measures are followed during aggregation processes
• Monitoring project activities and collecting data for validation of clients
• Organizing communities fora, sensitization and Project concept training
• Establishing linkages and rules for contract signing
• Recruiting and verifying entrepreneurs for funding
• Working with radio stations in Developing project adverts and Jingles for project marketing among others

• Assessing Outgrower Businesses (OBs) Network’ capacity gaps to operate as full business entities without external support
• Supporting the OB networks to develop long-term plans
• Organizing review meetings with OBs’ field agents to assess their capacity, extent of implementation of the OBs’ 2018 plans, progress, challenges, successes and lesson learned
• Supporting OBs who have set up offices to improve their business and management skills
• Engaging lead firms in discussing USAID ADVANCE II Project roles/level of engagement with them in the cost extension phase
• Supporting input dealers to improve on management systems and expand their distribution networks, and develop business plans
• Building Capacity of Village Savings and Loans Associations (VSLAs) linking them Partners and Service Providers such Multimedia and Telecommunication Network (MTN) on Digital Financing
• Strengthening linkages between Out-Growers Businesses, Community Inputs Dealers, Community Inputs Agents, Outgrower Businesses and Spraying Service Providers and other partners to expand input distributions
• Supporting OBs networks to create awareness among themselves and their communities about women access to productive farm land
• Working with End market and suppliers to Develop relationship with OBs
• Build OB networks’ capacity in finance, governance, advocacy, Total Quality Management, Outgrower Business Management and Farming as a Business

• Facilitating inter-firm relationships and processes of Outgrower business and other institutions that will enhance the value chain performance
• Facilitate the Development of Outgrower Business plans, Access to production Credit, Development of Crop budgets for smallholder Outgrower Businesses and production needs assessment of VSLAs
• Facilitate, monitor and tracking activities of the Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs) to projects beneficiaries and their need
• Building capacity of smallholder farmers on improved business practice to farm business, farmer Based organisations and other value chain businesses, both in the formal and informal settings.

• Facilitating Farmer Based Organisations Access to production Credit through the Rural and Communities Banks in the Value Chain of Soya, Sorghum and Maize.
• Animate and sensitize clients on Credit management in the value chain
• Conduct Credit Needs Assessment, assist and facilitate the preparation and submission of Credit request to the financial institutions
• Facilitate the preparation, designing of Loan contracts between the banks (FIs) and the FBOs. Facilitate Signing of MOUs between the financial institutions, AFS and project Partners
• Animate groups for Loan disbursement undertake regular monitoring in Field visits to ensure proper utilization of Loan facility etc.
