• Preparing for and assisting with diagnostic procedures and treatment.
• Documenting of patient plan of care electronically, daily patient assessments and progress.
• Administering medications per oral, sublingual, inhalation, intramuscular, intradermal, subcutaneous, intravenous and optic routes.
• Assisting physician with central line insertion; dressing changes as per protocol.
• Administering feeding per nasogastric tubes.
• Providing health teachings to the patients and their families.
• Managing patient emergencies promptly, informing physicians of any vital changes in the statuses of patients and documenting information.
• Coordinating successfully with the doctors and other professionals related to patient care.
• Delegating and assisting patient care technicians in coordinating patient care, comfort and cleanliness of patients.
• Implementing discharge planning and instructions set by physicians and re-evaluation the patients’ conditions.
• Inserting peripheral intravenous lines.
• Educating patients and their families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures and other aspects of therapeutic regimens, including medication and pain management techniques.
• Performing catheterization (straight and Foley catheter).
• Performing blood glucose testing.
• Performing (or assisting with) nasogastric tube insertions.
• Performing Oxygen supplementation and spirometry.
• Assisting in tracheostomy care including suctioning of secretion.

• Cardiovascular conditions: myocardial infarction, heart failure, hypertension.
• Respiratory: pneumonia, pneumothorax, asthma, influenza, emphysema, respiratory failure.
• Endocrine conditions: diabetes mellitus, diabetes keto-acidosis management
• Renal conditions: urinary tract infection, chronic kidney diseases.
• Hematology: anemia.
• Digestive: peptic ulcer, cirrhosis, hepatitis.
• Muscular: skin traction care.
• Neurological; meningitis, stroke, seizure.
