  • Developed and submitted a proposal to the EdTech Hub [funded by World Bank and UKAID] to investigate the assessment of COVID-19 on eLearning in the Colleges of Education in Ghana
  • A grant of $ 30,000 was awarded by the EdTech Hub based on the proposal
  • Subsequently, I lead a team of 22 researchers to conduct this piece of research
  • The finding revealed policy implication for practice of eLearning in the Colleges of Education
  • The findings from this research study have been published and is being used to address eLearning issues in the Colleges of Education

  • This led to the development of a common understanding among stakeholders of pre-primary education to focus on pre-primary education's connectedness and distinctiveness within basic education as well as its links with health, nutrition and social protection.

  • Conducted a country level analysis of progress in South Sahara African Countries with regards FLN outcomes, key factors impeding improvements in FLN learning outcomes and what would be the most effective support that adds value to existing work to accelerate progress on FLN outcomes.

  • Managed the multimillion-pounds monitoring, evaluation and learning component for 4 years as data, research and monitoring and evaluation manager for the UKAID programme (Transforming Teacher Education and Learning)
  • Key achievement includes the development of the programme wide monitoring and evaluation strategy & theory of change
  • Conducted over 20 pieces of research that impacted policy decision in teacher education
  • Conducted programme wide value for money analysis that enabled the programme to save among others.

  • Worked with the Ministry of Education to conduct a ‘Deep Dive' assessment on Accountability for Improved Learning Outcomes in six districts (36 basic schools) of Ghana
  • The objective of the deep dive was to identify practical actions which the Government of Ghana can take to ensure that teachers and head teachers are working effectively to deliver improved learning outcomes in basic schools.
