Duties include –
• Assessing and monitoring patients' condition and needs to provide the best care and advice.
• Observing and interpreting symptoms and communicating them to physicians Collaborating with physicians and nurses to devise individualized treatments for patients.
• Adjusting and administering medication and providing treatment to physician's orders.
• Administering and monitoring intravenous infusions.
• Performing routine procedures such as measuring temperature, respiration, blood pressure, pulse, injections, oxygen saturation, blood sugar, wound care, bed bath etc.
• Taking patient samples and recording results or sending them to the laboratory.

• Providing a safe environment to patients by decontaminating equipment, disinfecting surfaces, preparing beds, etc.
